In August 2021 I eventually made it out of Bridlington on the Yorkshire coast (previous trips had been cancelled due to either bad weather or the dreaded Covid restrictions).
This was a trip with my photographer friend Steve Race of Yorkshire Coast Nature, and involves travelling for a couple of hours from Bridlington to Bempton Cliffs, and then a small amount of fish is thrown from the boat (for no more than 45 minutes, so it’s not constantly over-feeding). The sight of hundreds & hundreds of Gannets diving for the fish is incredible. The gallery below gives a flavour of what can be expected.
